Attraction Marketing…

It’s all the buzz in this industry.
We’ve all heard the term right?

Or maybe you haven’t.
And now you’re scratching your head wondering what the heck I’m talking about.

Whether you’ve heard it or not, consider this…
You can start doing the right thing tonight, tomorrow, or Right Now…
It’s never too late to start doing the right thing.

So what does that have to do with attraction marketing?
Well, let’s start by looking at the philosophy of this business…
90% of it is going to be “non verbal.”

It’s really about who you are BEING when you share your business with people.
That’s what people respond to.

The words aren’t completely irrelevant, but in some ways they are.
If you don’t have the right posture, the right power, the right strength, the right attitude, it
really won’t matter what you say. Most of the time people aren’t listening to your “words” anyways.

But if you aren’t convinced yourself, you aren’t persuaded yourself and you don’t really believe
that this business is going to change this person’s life that you’re sharing with….
That’s going to make a big difference.

Now, with all that in mind, let’s flip it…

You Can’t Say The Wrong Thing to The Right Person
You Can’t Say The Right Thing To the Wrong Person

You’ve probably heard that before if you’ve been in the industry for a little while.
And if you haven’t heard it before and you’re brand new, let it sink in for a minute.

Now looking at this game from a numbers perspective, we’re all out there interacting with people
inviting them to look at what we’ve got. And you come across someone for whom this is the right
thing for them, they are ready… the timing is right, the circumstances in their life are right.

Maybe they just read a book on network marketing or watched a video online and they’re all excited.
But they aren’t sure which company to choose.

If they only had someone they knew who would come along who could present them with a strong company
and a plan to show them how to do it. And you’re the one – You Show Up… You almost can’t say the
wrong thing to that person, simply because it’s the right time, right now and THEY are ready.

So that takes the pressure off. Sort of. There’s still a little pressue because of the whole 90% non
verbal side. But you get the point.

And on the flip side, you may have everything dialed in. A master of the 90% non verbal attitude.
Posture. Excitement. A smooth invitation. A sparkling video. The prefect sales funnel. A killer
blog. It’s passionate. Authentic. All of it!

Non of it will matter in front of the wrong person. You can’t say the right thing to the wrong
person.

And that is why “Quantity” will trump “Quality” every time.

Someone who doesn’t have the process down perfect, but they talk to 2 or 3 people everyday, with
excitement and passion and confidence and conviction…. That person, even if they’re a newbie, will
blow away the person with the perfect pitch and smooth invitation, that only talks to 1 person a day
or maybe 2 or 3 people a week.

That’s Why You Have To Talk To A Lot Of People!
It has a lot more to do with WHO you’re talking to than it does with your role in the equation.

And that’s exactly where “doing the right thing” comes into play.
If you’re stalling because your presentation isn’t perfect, or you’re the one only talking to a few
people a week, then start doing the right thing today. Right now! Start talking to more people.

As Easy As That May Be However – There Is a Catch….

    Nice. It is a very interesting topic and a good reminder. I was doing pretty well when I was out talking to quite a few people a week but have gotten hung up doing technical things. Back to talking to folks it seems. I am looking forward to reading the next installment

    Thanks Richard,

    People new to both online and traditional marketing think that simply because the things you mentioned above are in place success will come. What they fail to realize is that it is a numbers game. Throw in personal branding and you may have the exact pitch and presentation as another guy, but the prospect will resonate with the person they are most comfortable with. This isn’t to say either didn’t do something right. People are attracted by age, sincerity, smile, commonality, gender, how they greet, etc… Because of this, there will be people that I can attract that you can’t and people you can that I can’t, plain and simple. So it ends up being a numbers game. Looking forward to the next piece.
