How To Spin Your Articles Into A Mini Site

Next time you are writing an article on any particular topic, think about the potential for that topic’s online longevity and profitability. While you are doing your research or brainstorming ideas for the article, bounce over to to the Google Keyword Tool to see how much search volume your topic gets. If it’s upwards of 6000+ per month you may have a monetizable niche on your hands.

Here’s an article writing Quick Tip….

Take your article and identify the top “themes” within it.
You may find 2-3 or more topics that pop out out at you.
* Typically you’ll find that your themes run parallel to your existing paragraph structure.
Take the original article and break it into “snippets” based on the themes.

Now take those snippets and expand on them.
It’s quite easy to rework your themes and snippets from a single article and wind up producing 5-6+ new articles.

If you need some help coming up with ideas, this is a kick ass ninja tactic:
Take the themes you identified, should be 3-4 key phrases and do a search on each of them.
Look for the authority sites in the top 10 search results.
Now take the URL for those sites and dump them into the Google keyword tool by using the “website content” search. What you’ll get is a bunch of “themed” keyword lists that Google thinks that site is about.

Repeat the process on each authority site you found. See where I’m going with this?
If you have 3-4 primary key phrases from your niche, and 2-3 authority sites from the search results, you’ll easily wind up with up anywhere from 6-12 themed keyword lists with up to 200 keyword in each list.

Plus you know exactly how to breakup your themes… Google already did it for you and told you which keywords to include in the theme.

Want to take it a step further…
Grab a good domain name that matches your niche and the themes you’ve identified in your articles.
Install wordpress on the domain with a slick theme that, again, matches the themes in your articles.

Repeat the snippet process on all of your new articles. You’ll quickly find you have maybe 20-30 articles, all of which are a variation on a theme, by which you now sit on enough relevant content to launch a silo structured mini site with unique seo tuned content that the search engines will love.

One last thing…
Since they’re your articles, submit them to one or two good directories with 2-3 links in each article back to your niche site. Let’s say you’re able to produce 30 articles with 2 links in each. You now have 60 seo rich, one way, inbound links to your new site. Couple that with the power of syndication through the article networks alone and you have the potential to have 10x that if your articles are well written.

Now you can apply all sorts of Rock Star / Ninja tactics to the site to monetize it.
But there’s not enough time to go into all that right now…. Stay tuned for a little somthin somethin on that at a later date.

For now you have you’re work cut out for you with writing your content.

Cheers!
