What’s Up Richard,

Great post! It looks like Gmail is the real deal. I recently purchased a tutorial from Ryan Deiss and it was very informative.

You are right to get gmail ads you must think outside the box.

You must not target traditional keywords like in adwords search. The key is to think like an email writer and target phrases they may put in their letter. This allows you to target phrases people actually write, which will help keep bid costs down.

Great example about the Carpet cleaning. I have a lot of local business clients and will be investigating ways to get local with gmail ads.

Keep up the great posts they are always informative and interesting!
